Eric joined the Cannon Fish team in June 2014 to facilitate the refurbishing of the Kent processing plant. Eric successfully managed the refurbishing of two other plants prior to working at Cannon, and has 30 years of experience in the industry. Starting on a salmon tender in Alaska to running Cannon's plant today; Eric has vast experience with both onshore and offshore operations in Alaska and Washington State. Eric arrived in the Pacific Northwest by way of Indiana, Alaska and Arkansas. His childhood exposure to a variety of cultures and religions influenced his ability to empathize with people, a trait that is very important for a good plant manager. Eric believes deeply in, and is motivated by Cannon's charitable purpose to support economic development in six rural Alaska villages in the Aleutian-Pribilof region, through their parent company, Aleutian Pribilof Island Community Development Association (APICDA). Eric is also passionate about gardening, an activity he enjoys with his wife, for the benefits of healthy eating along with the opportunity to donate their abundant produce to food banks in the area.
